American Family Outing Application

Thank you for your interest in applying for the visit to dialogue with Bill Hybels and the congregation at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois during June 6 - June 8, 2008.

Same-gender couples with or without children, supportive straight families, single-parent families, and single individuals who want to participate with a member of their extended family (parent, uncle, aunt, bother, sister, etc) may apply. Each family unit must:

  1. Apply using the form below (please answer the questions as thoroughly as possible).
  2. Attend a brief training in nonviolence prior to our visit to Willow Creek Community Church. The training will be held the same week-end as our visit and in the South Barrington area. The exact date, time, and location of the training will be emailed to you once your application has been reviewed and approved. The official hotel for the weekend will also be emailed to each approved applicant.
  3. Sign the Soulforce Pledge to Nonviolence at the local training. Each member of your family will place a copy of the signed pledge in their name-badge holder during the meetings with the congregation at Willow Creek Community Church.
