American Family Outing Application

Thank you for your interest in applying for the visit to dialogue with Dr. Rick Warren and the congregation at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California during June 13 - June 15, 2008.

Same-gender couples with or without children, supportive straight families, single-parent families, and single individuals who want to participate with a member of their extended family (parent, uncle, aunt, bother, sister, etc) may apply. Each family unit must:

  1. Apply using the form below (please answer the questions as thoroughly as possible).
  2. Attend a brief training in nonviolence prior to our visit to Saddleback Church. The training will be held the same week-end as our visit and in the Lake Forest area. The exact date, time, and location of the training will be emailed to you once your application has been reviewed and approved. The official hotel for the weekend will also be emailed to each approved applicant.
  3. Sign the Soulforce Pledge to Nonviolence at the local training. Each member of your family will place a copy of the signed pledge in their name-badge holder during the meetings with the congregation at Saddleback Church.
