Statement:
After working as an educator for LGBTQ youth issues for the past four years I am excited to bring the skills I have learned to combat the oppression aimed at LGBTQ youth. My involvement with the Equality Ride is a next step in my journey towards ending the oppression of LGBTQ young people. I am looking forward to showing up at these colleges and letting them know excluding LGBTQ people is not in their best interest since they have yet to figure that out.
