Statement:
It's been a while since I've done any GLBT activist work so when I stumbled upon the Equality Riders page online I was very excited! I was even more excited when I found out that I had been accepted to go on the ride. I can't wait to get out there on the road and start making a difference. I think that this ride is so important in the gay rights movement and for the lives of GLBT college students. Some GLBT students don't know about the resources out there and if we go to their schools and they realize that there are people there for them, that there are people who care about them - then maybe we can make a difference in their lives. If we can help just one GLBT student with this ride it will be more than worth it.
