Concerning GLBT Equality:
The Evangel University Student handbook states the following:
1. Standards Based on Scripture
The following behavioral expectations are binding for all members of the Evangel University community for the entire duration of their enrollment at Evangel, including all semester breaks, Christmas breaks and summer breaks:
- Those acts which are expressly forbidden in Scripture, including among others, sexual immorality (including premarital/extramarital sex and homosexuality), drunkenness, theft, profanity, pornography, occult practices, and dishonesty, will not be practiced by members of this community (Leviticus 19:31; Romans 1:18-32; 1 Corinthians 5:11-13, 6:9-20; Ephesians 5:3-5; 1 Thessalonians 5:22).

The student handbook states the consequence as follows:
Sexual Immorality Issues: (pages 27-30)
Personal Probation up to and including Suspension and sanctions, plus counseling prior to readmission. As defined by Scripture, involves sexual relations outside marriage, cohabitation and/or homosexual relations. It also includes nudity, genital contact, and/or intercourse.
