Members of the Patten community are expected to exercise discernment and avoid all activities that tend to be morally degrading. Patten College expects tangible evidence of maturing Christian convictions and discerning judgment from its students. In this light, Patten asks to all students to support the spiritual and social character of the campus and the expressed behavioral standards listed below during enrollment:

  • Maintain biblical standards of sexual conduct, including abstinence from sexual relations outside of marriage and abstinence from homosexual activity.
