Soulforce & PFLAG host Marc Adams of Heartstrong in Abilene, TX TONIGHT

Soulforce and PFLAG are hosting Marc Adams, author and founder of Heartstrong 05/16/11 at 7:00 p.m. at Soulforce Texas site in Abilene at 2534 S. 7th. (www.heartstrong.org), Marc Adams, will discuss the Youth Empowerment Project. Marc is a Lambda Literary Award finalist and Silver Pen Award recipient for his autobiography, The Preacher’s Son.

The goal of HeartStrong’s Youth Empowerment Project is to distribute educational kits to every school counselor in both public and religious schools over the next few years. Each kit contains valuable new resources including an educator’s guide and a modern guide for dealing with coming out issues for GLBT youth.
