Soulforce is pleased to announce the official launch of its Delegate program.
The Soulforce Delegate Program will recruit participants from all over the country. Each participant will undergo rigorous training on the principles of nonviolence as it relates to social justice issues.
Delegates will act as collaborative forces in their own communities. They will connect people with important resources, provide training to individuals and organizations, speak at conferences and rallies, support positive social justice movements, and aid in developing programs and responses that end the political and spiritual oppression of LGBTQ individuals.
Soulforce Delegates are volunteers serving 1 year terms. Delegates who complete their term will be awarded a $1,000 grant to aid in an approved social justice project of their own.
Those interested in serving as a Soulforce Delegate may submit applications through February 10th, 2012 (the deadline has been extended!)
Please review our list of frequently asked questions about the delegate program before submitting an application.
