The Soulforce 1000 Watt March, Vigil & Concert
Families and Friends From Across America March with a Powerful Message for Focus on the Family: "Dr. Dobson - Learn From History. End Religion-Based Discrimination Against Our Community"

Due to factors beyond our control, the starting point for our final march on July 22 has changed to Rampart Park, 8270 Lexington Drive, Colorado Springs, CO (not Pikes Peak Community College). Please arrive at Rampart Park by 6pm on July 22nd to participate in the exciting final 2-mile march to the entrance of Focus on the Family.
Soulforce is pleased to announce that Judy Shepard, the Executive Director of the Matthew Shepard Foundation (www.matthewshepard.org) will be joining actor and activist Chad Allen in leading the crowd!
When we arrive (approximately 7:45pm), we will encircle Focus on the Family for a brief vigil, joining our hearts and hands as we peacefully call on James Dobson to end his discriminatory and misleading campaign against the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community.
Afterwards, Judy Shepard and Chad Allen will speak truth to James Dobson's untruth and then Broadway Star Billy Porter will perform his amazing concert that will have you dancing in the streets!
If you can't march with us, just meet us outside Focus on the Family (8685 Explorer Drive) at about 7:45pm for the vigil and 8:30pm for the concert. Together, let's show Focus on the Family, and America, that our commitment to family and friends is ultimately greater than their multi-million dollar campaign of religion-based bigotry.
