| The Soulforce Equality Ride is a two month social justice bus tour that confronts political and spiritual oppression of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) people. The ride began in 2006 and has visited hundreds of cities, colleges, universities, and other institutions. The 2012 ride will be the fifth tour. This year a large emphasis is being placed on intersectional justice (or the desire to practice social justice in a way that ends all oppression against all people) and community involvement. The participants of the Equality Ride are provided top notch training, transportation, housing, and food throughout the tour. I am an adventurous, spontaneous 20 year old. I am on a journey to finding a purpose for my life and how I can give that to the world. I am a gay male in a relationship. I seek the good in all and only speak to that which can build up and not tear down. I must admit I have my biases and my prejudices, but that just goes along with the evil within myself. I have a voice and refuse to be silent!

When we each look into the eyes of another human being I am in awe at the wonders that is held within. Etched in at the beginning of time where the path that each of us would take; no we are charged each day to make decisions and allow the Light of Christ to guide and protect us as we travel. This is my time to travel, my time to take all I have learned thus far in life and allow that Light to guide me.
