Blessings to all of you here and my thanks to God for each and every one of you. I'm not much for autobiographical sketches, but (very!) briefly...I'm a 39 year old gay man, been living in Kansas [!!] for the last 20 years but am shortly relocating to Florida [!!!]. Went to Episcopal church as a child, fell away from any/all church involvement for many years, but have been attending (and actve in) a 'middle-of-the-road' ELCA congregation for the past eight. I certainly am in deep awe and appreciation for the ministry of Soulforce. At least initially will likely be more lurker than participant, but please know of my support for the struggle.

Anyways...I'm sure I'll be telling you-all more in the future, but hopefully that suffices for a friendly intro!

Thanks! The southest (aka the 'Treasure Coast'). Truly not anyplace I ever expected to find myself, but I at this point in the game I guess I should stopped being surprised by life! :) It will be quite a cultural adjustment for me, but it's all very positive. Just kinda crazy right now. (eg I put my house n the market Tuesday afternoon, it sold last night! :eek: )

wow, I had no idea things would sell that fast.... I mean my parents have had our house sell with in a couple weeks or a month... but a few days:eek:

Unfortunately I don't know enough about Florida to know where that really is... I can only try and picture it. But it sounds like it will probably be a pretty good move... a new start is usually a good idea:love:

So ya found us in the midst of all the moving excitement, huh? We bought our house 18 months ago - it was on the market all of 2 or 3 days when we snapped it up. We're in AZ.

Glad you found the forum - it's a fun place to be and everyone is really kind and supportive. Hope you will come back and post some more.
