and it has nothing to do with our issues here at soulforce. I just thought I'd give you an inspirational story, and share my connection.
John Woodruff is an Olympian from my home town of Connellsville PA. I teach in that town, although I no longer live in there. When the story mentions that he gave his medals to his High School, it is one of the schools in my district, and the one that I graduated from. I have seen them on a number of occasions. at our football stadium, there is a tree that John W brought back with him from Germany. it was presented to Olympians there in Berlin; it is well loved and cared for. Every summer, a race that bears his name is held in town, and until his health and age prevented it, he would return for the race. He is an awesome guy!
