I was reading certain international Western bloggers who believed that the "aborted attempt by native-born UK citizens of Pakistani ancestry" was an orchestrated attempt by global neocons to diffuse the Middle Eastern failures; to ratchet up the fifth anniversary of 9/11; and to influence the US fall elections where predictors indicated a sea change in Congress not seen in your country since the November 1994 elections that ushered in the GOP.
US and international polls seem to indicate that the strategy is working. Despite a resurgence of liberal and progressive voices in the Democratic Party actually removing a founding DINO/DLC senator who showed his true colours and actually will fight "his" Democratic party while accepting GOP neocon accolades and support, the Republican Rovian strategy is poised to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Leading corporate news agencies already have the talking points. After all, their parent companies have a vested interested in global neocon strategies.
It seems that Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will still be minority leaders in 2007 while the traitor Lieberman is not removed from the Democratic party and all his perks in the caucus. Analysts say that other DINO's like Nelson of NE would probably join his true party, the GOP, if that happened.
Of course, peppered in the news, is the fact that CA, IN and MO have ongoing strategies akin to the Jim Crow laws, to make it difficult for minority citizens to vote easily. They are "scrubbing" lists like FL in 2000. There are 8states who are putting anti-LGBT nihilist agendas on the November ballot.
Do any of you, American activists of your political scene, actually believe that the House and/or Senate will turn Democratic in control if not political philosophy as of the November 2006 elections ??????????????????????????????
