For of those who do not live in Stigler, I would just to bring to you attention of a little lawn orniment on the court house lawn. It is a giant stone tablet of the Ten Commandments. Now I wouldn't care if was on a church lawn, but it raises a couple of problems.
1. That is in direct violation of the First Admendment of the Bill of Rights.
2. That it shows endorsement of that interpritation, there are in fact five different translations of the Ten Commandments. incudin Jewish, Catholic
just to name a couple.
A law suit has been filed with the ACLU to have it taken down, But its only one person, and the state supreme cort is taking its sweet time. So tell me what you think, and you could help feel free.
Talk to later, buy for now
