Here are some of the pick from the Albuquerque pride parade on June 10th
I am the one in Red, My drag name Is Pandora in greek means(all gifted)
When we came across a group of protesters, We just flashed the hand signs Peace and Love, And shouted "We love you guys!" and "Thanks for coming out to show your support!" over their hate speak. I almost went horse. But I go back every year and Ride on the Leather float. We cheered at anything they said. We didn't care, as we passed our supporters, pouring out their love over us, I am truely blessed to see so many that are unafraid.
I felt like I was on the top of the world.:D

A quick question, does anyone else have experiences with dealing with protester at gay pride?

Hope you like the pictures, I couldn't add all the ones I wanted. Only 5 at Time

e

Only that at a couple of the parades I watched, there were some protestors there. The folks I was with, we ignored them, acted like they weren't there, and went someplace a little distance away from them. They're there to try and provoke a fight (duh!!!), so anything that denies them that fight is good. :) I like your approach too, of taking it AS IF they were there out of support, ignoring the crap. . .Good for you!!!!!

Homo sex is a threat to national security??? Wow! (a sign from one of your pics Lee. Not sure if I've heard that one before.

Amazingly, I'm sure there are some folks out there who would read that sign and actually believe it, even without any type of explanation. Wonders never cease... (do we have a smiley who is scratching their head?)

A threat to national security? Well, as I heard it, one of the British code experts in world war two, one of the ones who was instrumental in breaking one of the German master codes, was later found out to be gay, and in 1954 was forbidden to enter any British military or intelligence operation!

Hey Lee, howsa 'bout us gettin' Quirky in Alba-Quirky? :aparty: :applause: Sounds like a plan! :aparty: :weee: :aparty: :agree: :aparty: :weee:

Peace and Love, BruceChris
