Hawaiian cruise?

Yes... a cruise around the hawaiian islands! We leave monday! I might not be around as much... but I am taking the computer so I'll still be here a little... I'm just really excited!!! It's my grandparents 50th anniversary and they're paying to take 11 of us on this cruise (which is actually the whole family) them, my aunt, uncle, 2cousins, my mom, sister, brother and his girlfriend and me!:weee:

Oh Honey- you are going to have the time of your life! Hawaii is amazing. Try to get up to Kilauea crater if you can. It's like being on the moon- just incredible! Just getting there is fascinating: you drive through a bunch of climates on the way. Enjoy Jen!

Daniel you're right that is an amazing place... when I showed my mom the site she said that was actually where we when we were in Hawaii before... I remember thinking it amazing and thinking my cousin and brother were crazy because they were getting as close a possible and I was kind of afraid (I was 7 I think)... thanks for the tip though!

Chris, surfing... I don't know.... I'm never very good at those things:lol: As for gay marriage over there... even 6 or 7 years ago UCC churches and others there were marrying gay couples.

FYI. There are a couple of Soulforce veterans who live in Hawaii and are always talking about how nice it is.

One is Sandy Farmer-Wiley. The story goes that Mel White was seeking out 200 people to come to the first Soulforce action to confront Jerry Falwell in 1999. I'm not sure how he and Sandy connected, but Mel personally invited her. She stated, "Mel! I am a black lesbian woman and you want me to go to a place called LYNCHburg?!"

She came, though! She and her partner of 30 years live on the island of Maui. Rodney Powell and his partner also live in Hawaii.

Okay now I know.... the guys who work on that cruise ship are really cute!:rolleyes: ... what can I say I now love bartenders! Some of the other drunk people were a little creepy though.

The cruise was completely amazing and I miss it so much already... even though I've only been back 10 hours.. it will be a while before I get pictures off my camera, but as soon as I do I'll put a bunch up... in the mean time I hope these pictures of the ship go through!
