Hello, my name is Gordon Shepherd. I have been a SoulForce supporter for many years, but only with my funds, never with a rally, or appearance. I have Mel's first book - and have loaned it to many people - and bought several copies for others - and have just ordered Religion Gone Bad. I'm a 74-year-old gay man who was very influenced by Mel's first book. In fact, he was raised in the same town in which I lived for over 35 years, and it was there that I met Mel and had dinner with him one afternoon. Also, Jimmy Creech did a workshop at my church there several years back. So, I feel connected to SoulForce in a good way. Us older guys really appreciate the work that is being done to make life better for the present gay communiy ( by which I mean the younger generation ).
