My name is Joel and I am a minister in Texas. I work at a homeless mission/church. My fiancee and I really want to stand with those who are trying to end the oppression that has been going on for far too long. I am seeking a way to open the eyes of people to the truth of unconditional love.

Thanks so much to everyone who has welcomed me! For those who have asked, I live in north East Texas. I have lost some friends and am an outcast in many circles here because of my beliefs. I am labeled as a "liberal" at best and often times a heretic. Thankfully there is a small but growing group of people who recognize that love is the answer.

What do you like most about Texas?

I'm not exactly sure what I like the most about Texas. One thing I really like is the diversity, of people and geography. Texas is so large and contains almost every kind of terrain found in America. We have many different cultures and it is easy to find people who aren't just like you. I enjoy being around people who are diverse.
