I am a 3* year old school board employee and Gay Straight Alliance sponsor. I was refered here by a former GSA president. He is taking up the cause of Right to serve (www.righttoserve.org). He's a great guy, and I'm proud that he's such an activist, I just wish he wasn't doing this. I don't want him getting arrested, or worse actually sent off to Iraq. Anyhoo, Here I am.

So glad that you are here. I have some of the same concerns for my friends that are participating in the Right to Serve campaign. Fortunately for our friends, they are being turned down for being gay or lesbian, which means they can remain safely out of Iraq for some time, at least. The cause of trying to enlist and face denial is worth it, and I am proud that one of my good friends in PA. is up for the challenge! Hope that you stick around with us. Peace! Vanessa :love:
