Ever since I was a child I have felt the calling to do whatever I could to make this world of ours a better place. Now, twenty-eight years later I have been offered the chance of a life time to host my own Socially Political LGBT talk radio show on AirAmerica - Little Rock. The only obstacle standing in my way is my lack of experince in landing financial partnerships and advertisors.
However, a little about myself, I was born in Conway, Arkansas home of 3 institutions of higher education, the University of Central Arkansas, Hendrix College and Central Baptist College. So the atmosphere is rather energetic with all the college kids out and about while they keep the pavement hot. However, it can be a little chaotic at times particulary when we host our Gay Pride & Coming Out Day parades. The chaos stems from the fact that just about every street corner has a church which I has no problem with because I myself have finally fallen in love with the lord once again and this time it was with the help of the Presbyterian Church.
I grew up in a single parent home with my mother and only visiting my father every other weekend until I turned about 16 when the visitation slowed down and eventually ended. During my life I grew up always wondering what it would be like to date guys or be a girl but never new really what was going on in my head until I learned about Matthew Shepard while I was enrolled in college back in 1999. It took me until 2000 to tell my friend only to crawl back into my shell not to swing that "closet door" open again until 2004.
Which brings my shorted life story to the ripe old age of 28yrs old where I am hoping and praying and whatever else I can do to make the world a better place become the forfront of my attention as well as the nations.
