Hello My name is Ryan..

I am new to soulforce and am interested in learning more about this group. I am 29 and came out at the age of 25. I have a degree in religion and have always been curious about spirituality and feel that one of the worst things inflicted upon the gay community comes from religion. I believe that people need to have spirituality in their lives and many religions rob gay people of self esteem and the right to live a healthy spiritual life.. I look forward to learning more about this group....

I've been coming to understand the depth of the damage of this recently. Their words say "truth in love" yet their hearts scream "I love that God hates your guts."

Thus equating God, and the (potential) object of one's love, with the object of one's fear and hatred -the REJECTION by that love.

..Don't get me started...:D
(There be plenty a rant on that subject, nonviolently speaking of course ;))
