I found this forum by accident. I forward the website to my pastor. I stopped "living the lie" at 35. I always new I was gay, but I grew up Baptist, enough said. I nearly got married, but just couldn't go through with it. I chose to be single and not date, thinking that would fix everything with God, it would make everything OK. I met my Partner shortly after I turned 35. For me 35 is when my real life began.
That's really cool that you are living true to yourself now. I know that it's a hard path. I grew up in a fundamentalist Christian household and met my girlfriend when I was 24 and finally out of my parents' home - thankfully. Welcome to Soulforce! :)
