My name is Andrea but I go by Kay. I am new to this forum... This is not my first post, as I have posted on other forums.. I tend to be out spoken and matter of fact. I don't know if people always appreciate that quality in me. But I also tend to be bold as well. I often speak up about GLBT issues in many ways , and it has not won me any popularity contests. I often get criticism as well as some resistance for my views,but that's they way it goes sometimes. But in many cases it seems to seep in and people get it. So I don't always get opposition. But the people who are the hardest to reach are those who are steadfast in their beliefs about gays based on what they say the bible teaches. I don't try to insult them or attack them but I present my point of view in a way where it won't put them on the defensive.I don't like arguments. because if you get into a battle of who is right and who is wrong.. you definitely will not win because the other person will try to preserve their dignity by convincing you , you are in the wrong.. I don't know if it will change their minds or not , many times it may not seem to, but at least I present my views in a tactful way... and I may actually succeed in getting certain people to think differently or at least consider another view point.
