Hello! My name is Sherry Gordon. Thank-you, Jamie, and to everyone else for welcoming me. Jamie, I tried to directly reply to your warm welcome but I had trouble figuring out how to do that so I am using the thread instead.

I am a Christian lesbian woman who is disabled and 44-years-old. In the Fall Semester 2002 and since I went back to college after about 20 years. I am now a Women's Studies Major and aiming also to get my certificate in Sexuality Studies. I attend the University Of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. I am a blend as a Christian. I am liberal and progressive but I can have a born again and an evangelical side as well although I am not charismatic. I sort of have many diverse aspects as a Christian while being a liberal and a progressive person.

I look forward to being a part of the Soulforce community! I am very honored and touched to be a part of this community. Thank God for Mel White and his partner, Gary, for founding this wonderful resource and activist ministry!

Yeah, it was one of the new features that came with the upgraded forum software. The special welcome PM (sent automaticly) invites new members to post an introduction, create a profile, and get active on the forums. I think it has given a boost to the number of introductions.
