Is there any organized Soulforce activity here in southern Illinois? If not, do you have any suggestions as to how I might get something started here?

We have a fair number of gays, both students and faculty, associated with Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where I am studying for my PhD, and I'd really like to see something develop so that those of us who have a spiritual interest could meet for something more substantive than just drinks and dinner on Friday nights. Any suggestions or networking contacts would be greatly appreciated.
