We've got room for everybody here, and certainly room for you. I can remember many years ago, when I was dating Lynn, who had spent her first 23 years as Allen. So I have some idea of what may be going on in your life. Of course, people's understandings, and society in general were a lot more primitive back then.

If you ever get a chance, be sure to visit Minneapolis. We're usually a very easy going and accepting kind of place, with a trans population that is probably larger than most similar sized metro areas.

Hi, Kara. Thank you and everyone else for the nice welcome. Actually Alabama is not as bad for transsexuals as its reputation. As a non-native here (former Virginian - among other places), I expected much worse, but people leave us alone as long as we are common sense about our exposure. I only live 110 miles from Atlanta, and it is a very trans friendly city. The only real hate we get seems to be from political advertising - R and D :(
