Some one originally posted a question about Sodom and Gommorrah(really trying to make it an anti- gay issue) Fortunately someone responded honestly and I just connected with what they said with my response..."Yes, but actually it was 4 Canaanite cities: Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim. The reasons being the people showed a lack of charity and ill treatment of strangers, ignoring the needs of the poor, rebelling against God, lacking in knowledge, deserting the Lord, idolatry, abomination, engaging in meaningless religious ritual, being unjust and oppressive to others, being insensitive to the needs of widows and orphans, committing murder, accepting bribes, adultery, lying, evil, pride, haughtiness, they were ungodly, unprincipled, lawless and lazy, and their excess of food while the poor and needy suffered."
But doesn’t this in many ways reflect how our society is today?

I will print it out, and try to memorize it, or put it on a business card. And while we're at it, consider those who stress the letter of the law and ignore it's meaning. Look up "Pharisee" sometime.

Peace and Love, Bruce Chris
