I'm impressed by your resume', and I like your attitude. But I'm not a Quaker, and I live in Minneapolis, so I can't offer you much there. Come on board, post where you like, and meet the folks. :rainbow: :agree:

Dear Gary: Welcome, from another Californian - this one a Catholic from the Bay Area. I have a special place in my heart for Quakers. The most recent Quaker meeting I attended was a memorial for Tom Fox, the brave Quaker who was killed in Iraq earlier this year. I'm also part of the Christian Peacemakers Team and Tom's death (and the miraculous rescule of the other 3) was devastating to me.
We have a number of Quakers who are active in Soulforce, so glad to have you with us and hope you'll share with folks the very strong basic message of peace that Quakers hold.

Gary- Welcome!
Not a Quakers myself, but did attend some meetings long away- there is a meeting house down the road form my parents house in Eastern Pa. I remember the services I attended for one central characteristic: dignity and respose- a feature which is a sorely lacking in modern culture.

Welcome, Gary.
Not a Quaker, but I am under the Anabaptist "umbrella." :)
