hey everyone. i'm new out here but am glad this place exists to address homophobia in the churches and all. I grew up Pentecostal, then evangelical and toyed with becoming Episcopalian before finding a home in the Lutheran church.
I attended Moody Bible Institute and later, Gordon-Conwell Theol. Seminary before I came out.
I am now working on a PhD in World Christianity at the Lutheran School of Theology here in Chicago. I don't have the same ordination challenges that others do since I am not seeking ordination.
Personally I am called to the teaching ministry and it would be great to correspond with other gay Christians and seminarians out there.
