Hi Christy! I'm not in Columbus, but am north in Marietta, GA. I'd bet there are some folks on the board a bit closer to you, though.

It's good to know there is a GLBT friendly congregation in Columbus! What a blessing that they are springing up all over -- even in smaller cities. I tend to think they are only in the larger cities, but I know of some in Athens and the Savannah area, too. And now Columbus!

I am glad to meet new friends. Marietta is not too far from Phenix City and Columbus area. i think it is about 2 hours. I assume you go to a gay-affirming church. What denomination is it. we are part of the ICCC or international Christian Community Church. ya'll have more churches to choose from around the Atlanta area. i am bless with a great support system from the church. i have grown more spiritual in my walk with Christ.
i don't know what you know about me so here is a quick bio. i am 33 years old living in phenix city, AL across the river from columbus, GA. i live on my own with my cat, Phoebe and my dog, Sheba. i love to go to church, Bible study, music, reading, writing to pen pals, watch sports especially football. ROLL TIDE! of course they did not roll this year. i love to travel except i can't drive, and hanging out with friends.
