OK, Vanessa talked about her tree, and I thought it might be fun to pics of our trees in a separate thread, rather than filling Daniel's show and tell thread.

Here's one of mine:

It's all silver and blue with a crescent man in the moon on top.

I love it Keltic. Do you usually have a themed tree? This year, mine is all white lights, and I usually put up a variety of ornaments. I fluctuate between multicolor and solid color lights each year.

And..... congrats on being a moderator!!!! :)

I have been doing this themed tree for a few years now, adding a little more each time.

my partner did a tree full of nutcrackers: http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q305/keltic63/nutcrackerTree.jpg

and this weekend, we're taking the kids to pick out a live tree to put up in the living room.

oh and thanks for the good words about being moderator....I'll do my best.

Mixing threads here- on Show and Tell I just yakked about my goose feather tree sitting on the piano. (No room in the inn for a live one I'm afraid.) Well....here it is. In case inquring minds want to know: the young man playing the piano is hubby and the smaller framed pic is of his mentor who taught him to play the concert organ. (gee- this is getting personal!) And a mask carving of Sarasate- the goddess of music- is lurking in the corner on the far left behind the kleenex box. She's a bit shy.

And on becoming a Moderator, Keltic. I would love to look at Vanessa's tree, but she says she can't get there yet. (Neither can I) Say Keltic, isn't that crescent moon the same one that some fundies say that Proctor and Gamble use, as a sign of the devil? Careful, there, or you'll give us a reputation!

Seasons Greetings, Bruce Chris

it's also the one that I have on my tattoo. I guess I'm branded by the devil now!

I just need some education I guess in how to download an image to show you all. I have a digital camera but that is as far as my knowledge goes. I also have a crescent moon tatoo, keltic, so we can be branded together. I always knew I had a little devilish side to me!!

My grandma had a silver aluminum tree too!!! So, I got one for myself several years back. The color wheel no longer wheels, and the spinning tree holder no longer spins the tree, but ahhhh.... She makes me happy!!

Cool!!!!!!!

Vanessa- don't know your computer system (I have a Mac), but I plug my camera into the computer (there is a cord for this somewhere I bet- you have to figure out which end goes where- got a manual?) and then download it into iPhoto. Pretty simple really. iPhoto asks you what you want to do. You probably have something similar?

Jen- The glow-in-the-dark blue star is a really nice touch.

Thanks... we saw it at the store and really liked it and decided to get it instead of the normal angle of gold start or something. Thanks Daniel... I've been getting a lot of compliments from you.. what've you been up to? :)
