What exactly is the Gay Agenda? That we have one is a new fact to me. My personal agenda is simple...to live as an ordinary woman, do ordinary things, be human and to offer others the same. Is there something I missed? My email must have dropped the memo by accident when my computer crashed. I am a post op tran woman and have yet to see anything that even remotely resembles an agenda. What is it?

But you could ask Doctor Dobson. He seems to know.

You are a good looking tran woman! Way to go girl! The gay agenda is simply this-they think we are pedophiles and are out to ruin the country. They say we are infiltrating the schools with a homosexual agenda that says it's ok to be gay. They think we are are sex starved nymphomaniacs and all we do is hop into bed, or any bathroom with anyone available. They think we hide in dark alleys and kidnap innocent children in order to rape and sodomize them. They think we undermine the military's presence and they think that all gay people are out for seduction and conquest. They think we don't have a clue about what a relationship means, nor do they want to recognize the relationships we do have. They kick us out of church as if we had leprosy or something. That my trannie friend is the gay agenda. Anyone else feel free to add anything to it.:(

i know what our detractors say our agenda is - just see pnggrad79's post for an accurate rundown of that.
Often it makes me chuckle when i hear the anti-gay "Gay Agenda" rhetoric. Obviously, these folks have never been to a consensus-run Steering Committee meeting for a GLBT March on Washington, or an ACT-UP or Queer Nation meeting, or any broad GBLT community coalition meeting. When participating in those i've thought it a miracle that we agree on anything, let alone some nefarious agenda. Heck, in many of those meetings i've attended tons of time was spent just trying to reach a consensus on how the meeting should be run or the respective group operate.

I have heard it said that The Gay Agenda in many ways resembles The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. (And is of comparable authenticity)

the gay agenda is to get noticed, get at least tollerance (though acceptance would be nice), and to get Votes!
(ok, i stole that last one from the triangle e-newsletter).
if the Right doesnt like us, then tough ****- they can just go pout in a corner for all i care.

That's what I always thought our agenda was. You beat me to it.
