This is crazy, our area had a huge black out and we've already been out of power for 2 days and they said there's a chance that it will be a few more before we get it back... so for all of you out there to do have power right now, consider yourselves very lucky! Anyway, that's why I've disappeared again, and I hope that I'll be around more again soon!

Enjoy the Season! :D

Does this mean you have power back?

Nope, it means I'm at school. My mom got us a hotel for the next night or two though, we were completely freezing last night... out side it got to about 28 degrees, inside we got it up to about 52 degrees at one point (with seriously like 200 candles lit)... we have no heat and no hot water. It's definately interesting.

They offered a ton of money and have brought in people from as far a Wisconsin to help with getting power back on in the area... they said after the storm they had an estimated 1.5million people out of power. But last I heard there were only had about 7000 still out, but we're on a line with only like 3 other houses, so it could still be a couple days they said.

WHere I used to live, we would often lose power, sometimes for up to a couple of days. It is tough once cold weather comes to call, because you can only get so warm without heat..... hang in there.

Thanks, let's see... we've been out 85 hours, and it's a 3000sqft house, completely freezing, glad that we're staying in the hotel.. the first few night weren't so bad, but I'm kind of ready to have power back now..:(

Gee, I hope that you turned off the water, and drained the pipes as much as you could. And oh, yeah, I hope that your emotional and spiritual welfare is O.K., too. And blankets, and sleeping bags, and alla-that kinda stuff. Well, you're young, you'll bounce back, especially with our prayers and best wishes going with you.

Peace and Love, Bruce Chris

Thanks...water isn't an issue, we continue to have water so that part's good. Other then that, like I think I said, my mom was able to get us into a hotel tonight, so I think that it will be fine now.

I was up in Blaine for the storm and we never lost power. It flickered a few times but never went out thankfully!
