I thought I looked this up on a whim. It’s one of those songs that keeps coming back to me. The sound is as its name implies – it just flows. I had no idea that the inspiration for the song was of the “literally everything will flow” nature until I just saw the video.

It exemplifies that understanding with a metaphor of water and captures the idea that nothing is solid – as the physicists who study energy continue to tell us. Long story short, it appears to be groovy on all levels. :weee:

I don't know, that song just hits me in the gut with her addition. I used to say it like, the song is so beautiful that it glamorizes whatever you're doing — no matter how ugly. In an instant, all becomes pitch perfection. The reminder of that moment when we realize that we would do it all 1000 times over, in an instant, just - to - be - that.

I almost feel like it's newsworthy though. The idea that everything should be free, especially from those who profess to have 'access' to God.

I had just heard the song on the radio and the DJ "suggested" that I go to the Switchfoot website "if" I was curious about the video...Right after that, the "James Dobson minute" came on. Needless to say, I nearly lost my shoes.

For me music has been often a way for me to connect to my own emotions, When I was younger I would put alot of emotion into my own music,(guitar playing) it was a safe way for me to connect to those emotions. I still connect to songs that reasonate with me.
