Trump calls Rosie a "degenerate"

Apparently Rosie & Trump are in a feud of sorts, firing off comments about one another. This is one comment that I can't ignore.

Trump responded to Rosie this morning, telling the New York Post, "Rosie got mentally beaten up by me, because she's a mental midget, a lowlife. I think she's got a death wish. It's too bad a degenerate is able to get away with things like that."

If this article is correct, Donald Trump has just defamed an entire class of people.

I don't care if he was pissed off at Rosie.

It's similar to Mel Gibson shouting anti-semitic epithets when he was arrested for DWI.

He owes the gay & lesbian community an apology.

And if he didn't say what was reported, he should issue a statement to clarify what he said.

Mr. Trump,

While you and Rosie may have disagreements, I especially find your attack on her sexuality offensive. We may disagree about many things and with many people in our lives, but our personal lives should not be used in such ways. You have made your choices and may or may not think they have always been the best choices, but Rosie’s sexuality is not a choice. I know, because I am a gay man. I did not choose to be attracted to other men. No matter what the research may say about the origins of homosexuality, it’s just the way it is. I have learned to accept that, which was very difficult for me with what my church upbringing taught me and no matter how the church and society in general have treated gay men and women. Please think about this: “I chose to be homosexual the same day you chose to be heterosexual.” Was it a choice for you?

I humbly ask that no matter what disagreements you may have with Rosie, that you make a public apology for calling her a degenerate.

All I have to say is it takes a degenerate to know one! Rosie is opinionated and brash for sure, but you know, it takes all kinds, and I think she is funny and I applaud the stand she has taken for breast cancer research and for gay and lesbian rights. Donald Trump is a spoiled rich guy who thinks he is hot stuff, for what reason I don't know. To me, HE is the degenerate and has not done a thing for anyone but himself.:mad:
