I am fighting my battle with A.I.D.S here in the heart of Texas. It is a puritanical , judgemental , and convicting kind of a place. I just surfed in here and I thought it to be refreshing that there are folks out there that actually seem to have some concern for their fellow travellers. I am in a committed relationship of 10 years +. My Life partner is uninfected and did not flee in mortal terror upon our discovery of my health status. You all will probably throw me off of here as that I am a heterosexual atheist and I do not support any war. However, we do agree on many mutual points of view and I look forward to any correspondence and intelligent discussion on any level. Viva anarchie', LOVE, Col. Phrea:) :) :)

We accept pretty much everybody here, as long as they're reasonably polite, and do not try to impose rigid doctrine on anyone. Come on in, wander around a bit, read some of our thoughts, and give us yours.

Peace and Love, Bruce Chris

I feel your fatigue of an intolerant world my friend, But It is becoming a kinder one each day.

Look for the kindness toward Gay people, Toward folks surviving HIV like yourself or being young and confused.

I am a polyandrous gay pagan and on this site have found some wise caring and decent folks. This is a cyber-sanctuary created by courageous nuturing visionaries. Here I find and offer in return affirmation and enlightenment.

I look forward to hearing more about yourself

Love and affimation,

Why would we throw you off? You would have to be consistently resistant to fair dialogue over a period of time before that would happen.

Anyway - all kinds of us have been made welcome here, of various 'orientations,' belief systems, and political views. What matters here is we all care about each other and show great respect and support. It's amazing to find this degree of mutual respect and even love on an internet board, seeing as how many message boards become a place where people can vent anger and hatred anonymously. That doesn't fly here.

So, Skottie - would it bug ya if I ask what part of Texas you're in? I usta live there, and just got back from drivin' all over the I10 twice in a week.

Oh I nearly forgot: Welcome. :)

It is refreshing to see folks attempting to build bridges and network in the pursuit of common understanding and love. It is quite a contrast to the usual accusations of heresy. I would opine that religion is responsible for more death and destruction than any other cause throughout history. ( Herstory).Though I am not "a believer" I still display what some would call spiritual principles.I ask a lot of Christians if they can tell me the ten commandments, Only a few have been able to. Most of them around here are all hung up in Leviticus and for whatever reason cannot grasp the concept of The New Testament. There are absolutly no services for A.I.D.S. patients where I live, There are lots of churches that claim to exhibit compasion but all I see is hypocrocy and judgement. I was told that A.I.D.S. is gods punishment for my sin. Perhaps everyone missed "the rapture" ( not mentioned in any bible I have studied) . What happened to Love thy neighbor ? Life would be so much easier if there were a god, I am sure that if there were a god the things that go on in this world would be very different. Was it Christ that said '' If your not with me then you are against me ? I believe that if you are not against me then you are alright in my book. Why do most christians blindly follow what they are told ? I have read the bible and it seems to instruct us that we should leave everything to god and love everyone. WE ARE DOOMED TO DESTROY THIS WORLD AND I CAN HARDLY WAIT TO SEE IT ALL FALL DOWN. ALL MY LOVE, Col Skot
