Ummm I don't know what to say really. Im 14 years old, im homosexual, I'm Jewish and love music. I am a fan of both heavy metal and jam bands. I love horror movies and novels. I love The Simpsons and Mystery Science Theater 3000. I play guitar, have a gunia pig, a hamsrter a dog and two fish. The pretty much covers it.:lol:

Now i am sure you are thinking that is a strange mixture:confused: . Even though i was born in 1973 toward the end of the Vietnam war, I still a hippie at heart.:rainbow: :love: My aunt gives me a lot of Hippie books . I also love Hippie music . I also have plenty of tie-dyed shirts. I was reading one of my books and the Hippie movement is still going on, especially since the war in Iraq started. There is one place in AL the state where i live, which are a group of hippies.:rainbow: :love:

I know there were Hippies who also also GBLTs expecially Bi-sexuals. Janice Joplin i believe was Bi and many others too.
I guess you can say i am a hippie, Christian freespirited Lesbian. :cool: When the war in Iraq started, I went to several protest in downtown Auburn, AL.
Since i moved back to my hometown , they don't have protest against the war because we are so close to one of the army bases.:( I am totally against the war:mad: . The movement of the Hppies are comming back. I also attended a protest against the GBLTs in our state's capital. It was against Fred Phelps:mad: . He preaches hate toward the GBLT community. His church Westboro baptist which i think it is in Kansas, teaches hate and he is also against America. He has a web site whuch is teaches to hate homosexuals.:mad:
My user name is rainbowcat because #1 i love rainbows, #2 I think God created the rainbow because he loves diversity, #3 it represents the Hippies, And #4 it represents GBLT community. I am now reading a book: "Calling the Rainbow Nation Home" A story of Acceptence and Affirmation" by Rev Elaine Sundby :love: :rainbow:

I think it's great that you can come here. Someone your age needs all of the resources and friends they can get. And we have lots of both, here. I guess I am curious about knowing what part of the country you live in, how many friends you have that you can really trust, and what your plans are, but please, don't tell us any of those things, until you feel that it is the right time for you to do so. :wave: :applause:

As far as me and my parents go we agree to disagree:disagree: . The only thing i have in common with them is we pull for the same team ROLL TIDE! :agree: except they did not roll this year. Politically we are at the opposite of the spectrum:running: . They are a Conservative Christianity who says homosexuality is wrong and sinful:mad: . They think i chose to be gay. Me on the otherhand, i am a liberal Christian lesbian.:rainbow:
i have found a gay-affirming church nearby:pray: . i have the support from my GBLT brothers and sisters in Christ.:love: i also have an aunt who lives nearby who supports me being a lesbian. my parents say they love me but don't accept me as a lesbian which is called conditional love:unhappy: . God loves us unconditionally:love: . I guess you can say I am the black sheep of the family. My brother believes like they do but i am glad i have the support from the church, my aunt, and soulforce.:love:
