I remember not too long ago studying. i would stay up all night to studyed drinking caffine and eat doughnuts for a sugar high but i made it. I survived college. it took me 7 years to get a B.A. in Sociology, but I had a few bumps on the way to getting and no, it was not because i fail a class. I did fail one class but i retook it and got a "B".

God Bless,
Christy

I’ve decided to do every thing in my power to stop time.

Now did that statement make you “stop” for a moment, in order for it to register? If so, then I think I’m on the right track.. :D

I do not get your statement because only God is the One who can stop time.

I respect you taking on such a difficult task... please do share more of your thoughts about this... do you mean 'stop time' or just slow it down??? Would really like to know more about what you're thinking here, this sounds interesting:D

I do not get your statement because only God is the One who can stop time. rainbowcat, I think that you might be reading to much into that statement, I don't believe that it's exactly meant in the context of stopping time, as in the world comes to a fault literally and all things just stop... at least I don't think... *confusion* but now I've said all this and started to ever confuse myself... share Emproph!!:D

Keep in mind I had 38 years worth or resolutions to make up for in one night. You should have seen my first list.. :D

But you're both right, a more accurate way of saying it might be: To objectify the meaning of time – future and past – in order to make the idea of eternity more identifiable with. As in the “eternal now,” As in "we are created in God's image."

I’ll have to expound on that later but here’s a teaser (below). Think of us as the “movement” part, and God as the “still” part.

Note: These pictures are not moving...or are they?

I have decided against resolutions, only because I want to have goals and aspirations of what I want for the next one, two, ten, fifty years. So I just use different language. One of those goals I need to enhance in myself is staying ever present, in the moment, not jumping ahead to read the ending of the book, trusting fully that God has my best interest in mind and guides all, and that I need not question EVERYTHING in order to evolve. In the spirit of living in the moment more this week, I feel more peaceful and alive than I have in a very long time. Life feels new and good again. I believe that all will be well, I mean, REALLY believe it. When I feel like I am moving way too fast or too much, I rest in the stillness of God to center me once again. I may not always understand God's purpose, but I know that it will be good because he loves me so much. Missed you all SOOOOOOOO much!!!! Vanessa
