but it is there! Ikea's gay themed tv ad (http://www2.commercialcloset.org/cgi-bin/iowa/portrayals.html?record=2995)
The first time I saw it, I wasn't sure that I had really seen what I thought I saw. I caught it again this evening (it's running on cable here in the Pittsburgh area) and I watched closely for this final shot. An interracial gay couple with their daughter and family pet! and the final voice-over: "Why shouldn't sofas come in flavors, just like families?"

yeah...we saw this too over the Holiday's. You're right, if you blink, you miss it. But we're there all the same. :D
So far, I haven't heard of any opposition to the ad like the last time Ikea tried to do this. Remember that? I think they had two guys shopping at a store, the whole ad was about them. It didn't last long- that is- is wasn't on the air very long before being yanked off.
I'm glad Ikea has the guts and spine to feature us again. We are, after all, good customers. And I know families like the one in the present commercial.
It's real, not made up representation.

Family Not Enough, Activists Want Fabric And Furniture Too
By Screed Daily
In another attack on the American family, IKEA has joined forces with the radical homosexual activist agenda™ with their new ad promoting the special rights of homosexuals to own furniture.
Focus on the Family spokeswoman Miss Bozo Brain says that “What we’re seeing here is an attempt by the homosexual lobby – with the help of corporate America – to sexualize fabric. The goal is to get people to think of material fabric as being no different than the moral fabric society.”
Religious conservative and carpenter Joe Shmo from down the street said, “This is ridiculous, they think that just because they have a talent for decorating they can redefine the meaning of furniture for all of us. Now what am I supposed to think of when I tuck my daughter into bed at night, they’ve ruined storytime forever.”
When asked for comment on the seriousness of the matter, one prominent yet clearly unconcerned homosexual activist remarked, “LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.”
Take Action: Contact IKEA today and let them know you won’t stand for the promotion of the homosexual "right" to sit down.

 Exactly, haven't they ever heard of Queer Eye?
Now what am I supposed to think of when I tuck my daughter into bed at night, they’ve ruined storytime forever.” ...wow, sounds like someone's got some personal issues if he starts thinking of those two guys everytime he tries to put his daughter to bed:lol:

I just noticed this Comcast "Best in Show" commercial last night, but apparently there's a bunch of them. Same two guys, same sales pitch, and several of them gay themed. The "Best in Show" one seems the most gay. The poodle for one – just like the lesbians in the movie, and watch how the guy runs.
