The luxurious accommodations and hallmark Marriott service of the Philadelphia Downtown Marriott will ensure your visit to Philadelphia is refreshing

And it's all for a Jewish youth organization (thats expands all across north America) I just wish it didn't cost so much!

Call them up!

After January 5, 2007, all registration is on a space available basis only.

To be guaranteed a space at NFTY Convention, all payments, including scholarships, must be received by January 5, 2007.

Find out if they have space. Then start beating the bushes- for now or next year. Get a commitment from one of those organizations David has suggested. All things are possible to those with hutzpah! ;)

It's not audacious to think that you could go, but it would take some positive steps on your part. Go for it. Contact some people in your place of worship, or your family, and just throw out the dream.

Ok. So you know can rule these two sources of funds out. At least you know that. Keep looking elsewhere. Be creative. There is always a way to get to your goal- provided you don't give up, whether now or a year from now.

I work with professional singers. And it isn't always the most talented ones that obtain something of a career, but very often the ones who keep at it- the ones who don't give up and work hard on their craft.

So you've met your first roadblock. Life is full of obstacles. One has to get used to getting around them.

Time to widen the net.

What about approaching a patron at your synagogue? Other groups?
