Oath Protest for LGBT Rights in Madison, WI

Madison is where I live. Here's a link to one of our local papers' report on breaking news--the City Council voted to provide a "supplemental statement" that office holders may affirm when they take the oath to uphold the constitution. The statement affirms that the oath is being taken under protest because of the discrimination against LGBT persons now written in the Wisconsin Constitution.
