In the very near future you will see beautifully designed (Thanks to Jamie McDaniel) "Sponsor-A-Rider" pages on our Soulforce website, as well as at www.equalityride.com. Please help us spread the word, via email, about these amazing young riders from around the country. There are many expenses associated with the Equality Ride............hotel, food, bus, gas, materials, etc.........and we need everyone to show their support by sponsoring one or more riders.

Just looked at the site as it was launched this morning at www.soulforce.org. It looks really great! Very informative! This is an important witness, showing, as it does, real LGBT young people who are directly affected by the policies of these "Christian" schools! I especially liked the link to letters from students and alumni of these schools.

I also noticed many of these schools are influential in the right-wing political movement that has been dominant in this country during the Bush II years.

I really have been enjoying reading all their belief statements. Still have a few more to go. All of a sudden there is so much to read on here. Wish I could read it all. But have gotten behind with the forum.
