My name is Stuart from Ireland, I study at Queens University in Belfast. My BA path is Theology and History of Art, in my second year. Im gay, 31, trying to figure out this seemingly mucked up world. Also not having the best time at the moment, as i think im falling in love with someone i shouldnt, and its eating me up inside :'( but thats another topic! anyways, look forward to talking to many different people and seeing how the rest of this fragile earth tics.

Welcome Stuey -

Please feel free to jump into the discussions here, or just read. Whatever you're more comfortable with. I've found the folks here to be amazingly insightful as well as friendly.

Sorry you're going through a rough patch - you're likely to find lots of supportive friends at Soulforce!

Stuey! Welcome to this safe haven from the crazy world.

Don't want to assume or project too much here, but I can identify with what you might be talking about, having spent 2 years very much in love with a guy I should not, in retrospect, have been in love with. Everything looked good from the outside as they say. The inside was another matter.

The ways of love can be really challenging.

You're not asking for it (pelase forgive if I go too far), but the best advice I can say is talk to an able counselor if things start to get messy. Saved my you know what.

Much peace to you.

Thanks to everyone for their welcome and messages of support! Very much appreciated, just back from the dentist and my mouth is a bit numb still! ah well, hopefully a cup of coffee (or 5!) and a cigarette will kick it back into normality. Gonna get some studying done today and check out the rest of the forum subjects here.
talk soon

So nice to have someone here from the Emerald Isle!!! Glad you are joining, our loving, diverse family here at Soulforce. It is one of my most favorite places to be in the world, truly. I can identify with your current circumstance to a degree. Recently happened upon that situation myself, falling for the wrong person. Bummer for me, that is for sure!!! But, I am sorting it all out in my head and heart and moving beyond it, and trying to discover the lessons from it that I needed to, and still need to learn. I hope that your mouth is fully recovered by now from your dental work. Peace and blessings to you as well, Vanessa
