Hey! Congrats on your relationship anniversary! That's a big deal in my book. This is an very interesting place, one I hope you will come to call home, for you are much welcome here. :)
In medical school, I want to become a Family Practice doctor so that i can work with both adults and children. Maybe I'll eventually go into medicine as a teacher, but that's a looooong way in the future.
Kelly, we in the LGBT community SSOOO need doctors who share our world and understand our medical needs. Family practice is a noble goal. Think of all the good you can do affirming kids of all kinds as their personalities unfold.
Welcome to Soulforce! It's a great community of caring people. Very intelectually challenging as well. There's at least one physician on board who contributes regularly, so you may even find mentors here, who knows? Just as important, we need people like you to keep us connected with your generation.

It's been years since I've lived in a gay neighborhood, but I still go to my old clinic there. A lot of their clientèle are GLBT, as well as some of the staff. It's a very comfortable place.
I have heard that there ARE people in Minneapolis who do not approve of us, but none of them live in THAT neighborhood. So move to Minneapolis, and relax.
Peace and Love, Bruce Chris

hey nice to read your introduction. I wish I had the patience for something as ambitious as medicine, but I'm much more comfortable in a book somewhere than around a lot of people all day. I'm very impressed.
Congrats on your anniversarry - 8 months is a big deal. I'm very glad to hear that your family is coming around. I wish mine would. Nice to see you!
