Hey hey Everyone! My name is Matt... some call me Mattie, some call me Bananas (as in "Bananas Foster", after my surname). I've heard about Soulforce for ages and I have no idea why I haven't clicked on the webpage until now. But here I am! :) And I'm excited to be here. I'm very interested in glbtq rights and issues, as well as human rights in general. Anyway, I'm still getting used to the website, the community and all... but I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you though! :D

not by a long shot... nor are you the only southern "newbie" ;) well even tho I'm in New York I grew up in VA so... it's sorta southern ;)

anyway Matt hope you end up getting more & more involved... that's what happened to me! it took me a few years between first hearing about and investigating soulforce to actually join a group... but now i'm on the steering committee! the moral of the story is watch out hahahah
