Why are the links to the other GLBT sites not out in the open, I hadn't even known that this site had these links until Jamie showed me, so I just wonder how someone who just found this site will find them. Would be a good time to update them?

Why are the links to the other GLBT sites not out in the open ... I just wonder how someone who just found this site will find them.

We do provide links to specific resources we think are good that are produced and hosted by other organizations. Our Ex-Gay page (www.soulforce.org/article/726) is a prime example of that.

What we don't do, what most non-profits don't do, is promote other organizations in the general sense. Why is that? Well, when you have a visitor come to you home, you don't say, "Hey, now that you are here, have you seen the Jone's house on the other side of town. Oh, it is great. Let's go see it now."

When HRC doesn't place (http://www.google.com/search?q=www.soulforce.org+site%3Ahrc.org) a www.soulforce.org link in an easy to find place on their website, it is not that they don't support us, it is simply not wanting to divert your web traffic elsewhere. The reality is most of the small to midsize nonprofits struggle financially and thus need interested persons to financially support them (Soulforce being small, HRC being mid-size.)

If anyone was wondering, this doesn't include the links we all do in our forum discussions.
