Hi all. I never thought I'd end up here . . .
But, after many many years of flirting and lurking around the edges of the queer universe - and then doing my best to distance myself from it, I find myself once more immersing myself in it. This time I find myself setting a few more hooks to keep myself more closely attached.

Welcome Jim. Your intro was quite the teaser. I am very interested to see how the story unfolds. Thanks for joining us.
"Flirting and lurking" - now that's a flirtatous offering if there ever was one.
Pleased to meet you,
Andy

Jim! Welcome to the forums!
You've got one of those names like my boyfriend, a very common first and last name. There must be thousands of people with the same name as yours (as well as my bf's) and people will do a websearch and see that jmiller is a member at soulforce forums and think "Aha! I knew he was gay!" or maybe they'll think, "hey, didn't know jim is gay." thousands of jim's friends around the country will look anew at there own local jmiller and wonder: "is it him?"
and such a mysterious first post! come sit by me and tell me all about it!

It was exciting to get replies from you guys, Dave, Kelt, and Andy. It feels WONDERFUL to be somewhere that you can find guys of similar interests :D
And, yes, having a name like mine is both a blessing and a curse. my neighbor (with the same name) used to get love letters sent to me from my gf (back when I still wanted love letters from gfs). my name is so common that it almost makes me anonymous.
