I went there for the first time last summer and enjoyed the experience. We both like, but especially me, I like, Cirque du Soleil - they are awesome, and have about 3 (4?) shows running in Vegas. If you haven't seen them yet, GO!

Oh and - haha, hope the conference it productive too, since that;s the point of the trip! Keep us posted!

I just realized today that I can actually write some of this off on my income taxes! It relates to my job as music director/worship chair at the church. how many people get to write off a Vegas trip? :lol:

I'm feeling excited about the trip, but getting everything ready before I go is putting a lot of pressure on me. I am trying to write lesson plans for a sub, that may or may not be a music teacher, so the plans are detailed. I had to plan the music for my church service, eventhough I won't be there. Plus I have all the regular stuff I would be doing. I'm gonna need the vacation just for doing all the work to get ready for the trip!

Keltic, I am so envious both of the Disciples for hosting such a conference in Vegas and of you for the fun you'll have...I'd give anything to see Celine Dion's performance, I've heard it is gay heaven. tj

Hey TJ & keltic:
having heard Mrs. Dion in concert live before, she is great. Although, personally, I have to agree w/ Will on the tv series "Will & Grace," the gym is gay heaven :-) LOL Honestly, you get to see muscular men working out - its beautiful :-)
