Hi all :)

I first read about Soulforce in World magazine (not a particularly flattering article, but oh well). My sister recently arrived on Spring break from Cedarville University and announced Soulforce was visiting April 19.

Being bisexual (she doesn't know that) I was pretty psyched to hear that they're coming.

Mmm...I'm a general studies student at a community college.

Not much else to tell. Currently not a Christian. Grew up in an evangelical home.

glad to have you hear at soulforce. This is a cybersanctuary full of loving people. I'm one of the non-christians (druidic pagan) Many are christian and others are interfaith. would love to hear more!:)

You'll find quite a diverse mix of people here. I don't have a religion (at least not one with a name) but Scott (who posted right above) did a pretty good job at describing me as a Messianic Druidic Buddhist. I guess that comes pretty close! :lol:

The nice thing about this place is that one's beliefs are- of necessity- secondary in importance- if important at all. What is important is that we join together to address religious oppression.

Zerbie's right about diverse people being on here. I am bi too and was raised Lutheran, but now I'm "taking a break" as I like to tell my friends. Just know that you are not alone and that there are a lot of wonderful people here to support you!
