I know that Soulforce visited this college last year sometime. This college is in fact in my home town. It is a vastly republican community in the suburbs of Chicago. Next door is Glen Ellyn which is the home for the Illinois Family Institute. IFI which was behind an attempt to get anti-gay marriage laws on the ballot back in the fall. I did everything I could to stop it.

I grew up here, hiding from my own community and I'd like to start speaking out. I was wondering if Soulforce intends to make a stop here this year because I'd love to come and not only thank the riders that would come but participate in the visit. Last year I was unaware that you were stopping at Wheaton College and didn't get a chance to attend.

Wheaton is not on the list this year. To find out where the busses are going, go to our home page and click on "more about Equality Ride," there you will find the itineraries for both the East Bound and West Bound busses.

You could write Haven and ask her if she has any contacts she could give you from the Wheaton visit. But remember that she's very busy at the moment dealing with the day to day events of this ride, so you might want to wait until after the Ride is over. kara
